Book Review for The Last Black Unicorn

Last month I finished The Last Black Unicorn audiobook by Tiffany Haddish. You may know her from the movie Girls Trip. My friend got the book for Christmas and since I had a few extra audiobook credits, I decided to get the book too.

I am a member of audible. I get one book credit a month for $15.98. I love reading but I am really enjoying audiobooks. I’ve been a member for almost 3 years now. I find it easier to get through an audiobook. I can wash dishes, workout, and commute while enjoying a good “read”.

Back to the review:

Right off the bat I was laughing my ass off. Tiffany is funny. She is open and vulnerable. She spoke about her life growing up in foster care, her relationships (spoiler alert: she has horrible taste in men), career, personal life and it’s all intriguing. I am glad she wrote the book and it was a blast listening to her voice as she told her story.

When she spoke about her ex husband I was so blown away by the story I had to google him because I had to see his face. I recommend this book and I look forward to seeing more of Tiffany Haddish in movies, books and maybe a comedy special for Netflix or HBO.
