Frugal Friday: Banana Life Hack

Today’s frugal Friday will involve a life hack. This life hack is a game changer in my smoothie game and a money saver when it comes to food waste.

How many times have you thrown out bananas because they have gone bad? Why throw them out when you can freeze them to use in smoothies and milkshakes.

Take your ripe banana place it in plastic wrap and put it in the freezer. The next time you make a smoothie you can add the frozen banana and bam no ice necessary.

My favorite strawberry banana smoothie ingredients are:

Frozen banana

Frozen strawberries

Yogurt cup

Almond Milk

Blend and enjoy 🙂
