I won a free photo shoot and one print with Create Your Sexy a boudoir photo company. I knew right off the bat that this wasn’t going to be a totally free experience. (Although, it could have been but I didn’t want to be a total cheapskate).

I was hesitant to book an appointment not only because I’m in my mid 30’s and my body isn’t what it used to be but also because of cost. I knew they were going to charge an arm and a leg for every print (that’s how they get you) and I didn’t want to just use them for one single picture and a photo shoot experience (although that option was totally on the table).

Then, I decided I wasn’t getting any younger and I will never be this age again. We never seem to appreciate who we are now until we look back decades later and admire how great we alway were. So, I booked my appointment to celebrate my sexy. I wasn’t expecting a miracle or to look like any models (although that would have been nice). I just wanted to be me. I want to be able to look back at age 70 and say, “That’s me.”

The photo shoot was done at a swanky hotel in NYC. I met my photographer Heather in the lobby. She was an awesome and professional young lady. She knew her trade very well. I did not know how to pose or what to expect but she made me feel super comfortable and directed me through the entire process. It was a lot of fun and a bit of a workout. Modeling is not as easy as it looks. It’s a lot of contorting and yoga like moves. Hard work I tell ya.

I had to do my own hair and makeup which I suck at. Always, go professional if you can. I also did not upgrade with photoshop. I didn’t think I needed it (and mostly didn’t want to pay for it).

So, here are my six prints which includes my free one that I payed about $250 for. They have packages that include all of your photos probably about 160 images for a cost of about $2000. I wasn’t beat to spend more that $200 but they got me for $250. What can I say, you only live once.
